Windows, you always suck

What differentiates a great product from a mediocre product are the small details nobody apparently takes care about. There is where developers have to spend most of the time. There is where smart people shine and lazy people get exposed. These little details make all the difference.

Windows won't ever be a great product. And it is not only because the small details, but because its team has failed since version 1 by producing something at least "good enough". And don't get me wrong: I've been using Windows since Windows 3.11 came along, and I still use it at work... but dude, mid-2011and it still sucks 90% of the time.

Some time ago I tried to delete 913 files at the same time, and accidentally pressed together the DEL and the ENTER keys (using the keypad)... Windows assumed I had a super-powered machine and opened the 913 files (thank God they were associated with the Notepad application and not with something bloated like Word), and also displayed the "Are you sure you want to delete 913 files?" message. Who on Earth would want to open 913 files and delete them at the same time? Well, apparently Microsoft thinks that's totally OK.
Dear friend,

Right now you are opening and deleting files at the same time. No other operating system can do this. Please, if you are still alive when you finish closing the 913 files, let us know what you think of this awesome experience.

Sincerely,
The Windows Team.
P.S. It took me about 20 minutes to close all the Notepad windows because restarting the machine wasn't an option. I couldn't even use the task manager because the PC was totally unresponsive.
